Victoria - The society was formed in 1922. It is based in
Melbourne and also has members from regional Victoria.
- Bendigo District Astronomical
Society - Meetings are held monthly at the Discovery Science &
Technology Centre.
- Latrobe Valley
Astronomical Society - The society has an observatory on Coach
Hill Rd, Yallourn. Founded in 1954.
- Melbourne's
Astronomy Central - Created by Astrophysics Group, School of
Physics, at The University of Melbourne with the aim of
educating the general public.
- Mornington Peninsula
Astronomical Society - Formerly the the Astronomical Society of
Frankston. Founded in 1969.
- The Royal Society
of Victoria - Formed in 1854 to foster and promote science
including astronomy, anthropology, agriculture, geology, and other
natural sciences, engineering, meteorology and more. Housed in
Victoria St, Melbourne.
- Science Teacher's
Association of Victoria - A non-profit organisation that aims to
provide leadership, support, services, programs and resources for
all levels of science education.
- Snake Valley
Astronomical Association - Meet monthly to observe. Visitors are
welcome on Friday nights. Located on Carngham Linton Rd, Snake
Valley.

Skeptics - Victorian branch of the Australian Skeptics, a science-based
organisation run by volunteers. The Skeptics encourage people to be careful
about what they believe.
