• 1 & 2 November 2008 - Air Race World Series Grand Final 2008 - This deciding round of air racing will be held over the Swan River, Perth. Tickets available through Ticketek
   
• 2 November (Sunday) 2008 - Tao of the Traveller Film Screening - Free event that will also feature a live interview with leading actor, Tamasin Ramsay and special guest Sudesh Didi, senior teacher and meditator, Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. 6:30pm at Luna Palace Cinema, 155 Oxford Street, Leederville. • 28 October to 2 November 2008 - Festival of Country Gardens - Set in the picturesque towns and countryside of the inland South West of WA.

• 3 to 9 November 2008 - Walk Week - A week of state-wide activities and events promoting walking, including Schools Walk There Today, workplace walking challenges and community walks. • 4 November (Tuesday) 2008 - Melbourne Cup Luncheon - Raising funds for CanTeen. 3-course lunch, best hat competition, guest speaker Peter Symons, plus much more. $125 per person or $1200 for a table of ten. 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. Book through BOCS
   
• 8 November (Saturday) 2008 - Playspace Playday - A day of activities at the new City of Wanneroo Opportunity Playspace - featuring a wheelchair accessible tree top walk, swings, slides, cubby house, space net and liberty swing. Other playday activities include art and craft, face painting, a bouncy castle, giant bubble making, stilt walkers, stage shows and more. Free admission. 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Rotary Park, Scenic Dr, Wanneroo. For more information phone 9405 5000.
   
• 8 November (Saturday) 2008 - Victoria Park Primary School Fete - Raising funds for our school. There will be many activities including haunted house, tractor rides, rope bridge, bouncy castle, games, face painting, tarot reading, neck and shoulder massage, and blood pressure checks. Performances include dance, gymnastics, and karate. For more information contact the Victoria Park Primary School.
   
• 9 October to 9 November 2008 - Mountain Designs Bibbulmun Team Challenge 2008 - 16 teams compete in four heats along Western Australia's 1000 km Bibbulmun Track.  Each four-day heat covers approximately 60kms, with participants camping out and bushwalking with full backpacks for 15km per day. Although teams are self-sufficient, training and support will be provided. All proceeds dedicated to the ongoing sustainability of the Bibbulmun Track.
   
• 12 November (Wednesday) 2008 - Morning Melodies - Songs from the Girl Next Door - Monthly concerts for the young at heart. Concert goes from 10.30am to 11.30am followed by morning tea in the theatre foyer where you will have the opportunity to meet the day's performers. Three melodic works for string quartet by Meale, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky. 14th - 7:00pm at the Government House Ballroom, Perth. • 15 November (Saturday) 2008 - Be Kids Community Fair - All proceeds to assist Be Kids projects in Kenya. Stalls will feature homemade multicultural food, local and African handicrafts, plants and cakes. There will be storytelling, face painting, magic, fun activities, Bubblemania, and much more. • 16 November (Sunday) 2008 - Little Feet Festival 2008 - What will I be when I grow up? Children can explore a world of possibilities at the City of Joondalup's Little Feet Festival. Featuring Olympic pentathlete Kylie Wheeler, Postman Pat, artwork, games, baby animal farm, aquatic playground, and much more. Goodies for sale, free entertainment such as bands, buskers and street performers, plus free rides and activities. • 28 October to 22 November 2008 - Wild West Comedy Fest - Fiona O'Loughlin, Tom Gleeson, Rachel Berger, The Scared Weird Little Guys, and many more local acts, plus free shows and film shows. Part of the proceeds will go to Radio Lollipop in Perth. Venues throughout Subiaco.
