Rescue Inc. - Rescue animals from council pounds and places them with
foster carers. The group needs
volunteers for
administration, fundraising, emergencies, dog obedience classes and more.
- Barung Landcare - Community organisation, based in Maleny.
- Careflight Rescue QLD -
An emergency air medical rescue service provided 24/7 at no cost to
patients. Careflight requires volunteers for general office administration,
assistance with events, donation tin placement and collection in local shops
and businesses, and charity BBQs. Contact 1800 630 014.
- Coolum Coastcare Group Inc.
- A group of volunteers committed to the care and preservation of the natural
environment in the Coolum and Yaroomba coastal region.
