23 April to 2 May 2010 - Camden Haven Music Festival - Music, dance and theatre (see more information on Port Macquarie).
29 April to 2 May 2010 - Australian Celtic Festival - A celebration of Celtic culture including food, dance, history, music. The focus of this year is the Isle of Man. Held in the town of Glen Innes (see Glen Innes).
30 April to 2 May 2010 - Baby Boomers & Retirees Lifestyle Expo - Lifestyle options for the over 45s with advice on finance, travel, well-being, home ideas, and caravans. Featuring celebrity chefs, gourmet food, fine wine tasting, and sales. Open Friday 30 April from 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm and Saturday 1 May and Sunday 2 May from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour (see Darling Harbour).

30 April to 2 May 2010 - Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival - The annual festival features bellydancing and drumming workshops, a dance party, a concert, and more.
22 April to 12 May 2010 - Pink Bun - An annual national fundraiser for breast cancer. Purchase a pink finger bun or a paper Pink Lady and 100% of the profits will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.

1 May (Saturday) 2010 - Creamfields - Dance music festival at the Horden Pavillion, Sydney.
1 & 2 May 2010 - Wild Endurance - A 100 km trek through the Blue Mountains, raising funds for the Wilderness Society's environmental conservation projects.

2 May (Sunday) 2010 - Bowler Hats at Bondi Beach: Surrealist Artist Andrew Baines wants anybody and everybody to meet at Bondi Beach, on Sunday May the 2nd at 7am. Need to ear black suit or black attire (bowler hat supplied) and must have a black umbrella.... Andrew will create a human sculpture by lining everyone up along the coast in knee deep water. 7 May (Friday) 2010 - Starlight Day - A national fundraiser for the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, a children's charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children. Support Starlight Day by making a donation or purchasing merchandise such as star key rings, Starlight shopping bags, bracelets, blow up soccer balls, star pens and flashing star wands in your area at selected shopping centres and train stations nationally on Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 May.

27 May (Thursday) 2010 - Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - Anyone can host a morning tea during May or June. All funds raised help The Cancer Council fund research, prevention and support services for patients and families.
27 to 30 May 2010 - 4th Dungog Film Festival - The noncompetitive annual event includes seminars, master classes, live script performances, and more in the town of Dungog, about three hours north of Sydney.
28 May (Friday) 2010 - A Little Lunch Music - A Little Lunch Music series curator Kathryn Selby (piano) with Dimity Hall (violin), Irina Morozova (viola), Julian Smiles (cello) and Members of Australia Ensemble @ UNSW featuring Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E flat major, Op.47. 12.30 pm at City Recital Hall, Angel Place, Sydney.
29 May (Saturday) 2010 - 65 Roses Day - The annual national awareness day for Cystic Fibrosis. Funds raised will go towards research projects and support services for children and young adults living with CF.
29 & 30 May 2010 - Romantic Symphony - The Australian Chamber Orchestra performs Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 and Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony, plus an Australian premiere by Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood.
