• 1 November (Saturday) 2008 - 15th Annual Windellama Small Farms Field Day - The theme is 'The Simply Sustainable Lifestyle'. Featuring exhibitors and demonstrations including mud brick and straw bale builders, solar and wind energy suppliers, waste and grey water solutions, yabbie farming, natural bush soaps, wineries, olive growing and farm forestry. 9:30am to 4:00pm at Windellama, 40 kilometres south east of Goulburn, one hour from Canberra.
   
• 1 to 2 November 2008 - Wine, Roses and All That Jazz, Yass and Surrounds See Yass.  26 wineries and local businesses showcase their wines and gourmet food products.  Live music and wine tours also available.

• 2 November (Sunday) 2008 - Elevate Your Spirits - Presented by the Sydney Welsh Choir. • 2 November (Sunday) 2008 - Amazing Race for Research - Helping raise funds for the Oncology Children's Foundation (OCF). Race around Sydney to checkpoints, solving clues and completing challenges along the way, with the greatest challenge being to make it to the final destination. • 3 November (Monday) 2008 - All Souls' Day - In celebration of the 'Day of the Faithful Departed', join the Choir of St James in a performance of 'Requiem' by Gabriel Faure as it is performed as part of a Choral Eucharist service. • 27 November (Thursday) 2008 - HMAS Waterhen Freedom of Entry - The tradition of 'Freedom of Entry' dates back to medieval times and signifies mutual respect and trust between a city and a unit of the armed forces. More than 160 Navy personnel will be involved along with the RAN Band. The parade begins at 11:30am in Church Street and will proceed down McClaren Street, and then along Miller Street. Following the parade, there will be a community function in St. Leonards Park in North Sydney.
