27 November (Thursday) 2008 - HMAS Waterhen
Freedom of Entry - The tradition of 'Freedom of Entry' dates
back to medieval times and signifies mutual respect and trust between a
city and a unit of the armed forces. More than 160 Navy personnel will
be involved along with the RAN Band. The parade begins at 11:30am in
Church Street and will proceed down McClaren Street, and then along
Miller Street. Following the parade, there will be a community function
in St. Leonards Park in North Sydney.
