Historical Attractions

• Australian Museum
• Australian National Maritime Museum 
• The Berry Museum contains local family history and memorabilia specific to the Berry-Coolangatta District.
• Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum 
• Centennial Parklands was dedicated by Sir Henry Parkes as a public open space in 1888 and was the venue for the inauguration of Federation in 1901. Centennial Parklands includes the Federation Pavilion monument, Moore Park, Queens Park, and Centennial Park.  
• Convict Trail a history of the convicts who worked on the Great North Road between 1826 and 1836. The trail can be explored via self-guided driving, cycling, or walking tours. Membership to the Convict Trail Project is available.
• The Firearms Technology Museum includes history and family tree information on the Tranter family.
• Historic Houses Trust of NSW information on the events, collections, and key historical buildings that the Trust is responsible for within NSW. Buildings include The Mint, Hyde Park Barracks Museum, Justice and Police Museum, Museum of Sydney, and Vaucluse House.
• History Hill Museum devoted to Australia's gold rush heritage, it is located in Hill End, which is near Bathurst in the Central Tablelands. 
• Illawarra Museum
• Land of the Beardies History House Museum and Research Centre located in Glen Innes, it houses a folk museum and a research centre with a collection of over 10,000 photographs and over 300,000 records.
• Mary Mackillop Place features the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel where the Tomb of Blessed Mary MacKillop is located and which can be visited by the public, a Museum celebrating her life, work, and spirituality, as well as facilities for education, accommodation, and venues for retreats or conferences.
• Museum of Contemporary Art
• Nambucca Valley History and Museums information and pictures on the museums and historical buildings within the Nambucca Valley region, including those in Macksville, Bowraville, and Nambucca Heads.
