 BCL started as Brisbane City Life in 1995. It now has sites for all Australia capital cities as well as the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Tropical North Queensland.  Please use the links on the left to explore a wealth of information and links for the city or state of your choice.

BCL is owned by Maxlink Media Services, a family business based in Queensland, and operated by Online Encounters Pty Ltd. It is funded by advertising and has never sought nor received any government funding. We provide community links, events listings and some sponsorship free to non-profit organisations.

Affiliations

BCL is not aligned to any political party or religious viewpoint. Throughout the site, we attempt to give a balanced view with links to a range of sites. If anything, we tend to provide an outlet for minority viewpoints which are often not represented in the mainstream media. Inclusion in our site is not an endorsement or recommendation.
