Weekly market at Macclesfield every Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm. Selling a range of
locally grown vegetables & fruit, as well as hand-made childrens
clothing, herbal preparations (Roseneath), organically-grown vegetable & herb
seedlings, a range of scrumptious locally-baked pies, cakes and bread, and other
hand-made goodies. Also serves Free Trade coffee to enjoy while chatting in a
pleasant, relaxed community atmosphere. Live entertainment some weeks; plenty of
space, shade, ample parking, and a playground for kids. Held on Davenport
Square, or in the Institute in bad weather.
- Brickworks Markets,
held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and public holidays, are set on a
sprawling 6 hectare site featuring over 130 stalls with products ranging
from gardening to hardware, fashion to furniture, posters to toys, and
gifts to stationery.
- Fishermen's Wharf Market at Port Adelaide
- 3rd Sunday of the month - Arts and craft market is held in the hall at
262 South Tce. Sausage sizzle and Devonshire teas with proceeds going to
Royal South Australian Deaf Society Inc. Stalls are undercover,
good parking available. Members of the deaf community and staff are also
on hand to explain about the products and services offered to the deaf and
hearing impaired and their families.
