• 4 July (Friday) 2008 - UN Youth Forum: Have Your Say  - 2 UN Youth Representatives will be travelling around the country consulting young people on views that matter to them. Later in the year they will be heading to the United Nations General Assembly in New York to deliver a report on these youth issues. This forum will ensure voices of Australian youth are heard on a domestic and international level. Afternoon tea provided. 5.30pm, Torrens Building, Victoria Square. • 28 & 29 July 2008 - Bridging the Cultural Divide - This two-day seminar aims to provide people working in any area of Indigenous policy development, program implementation or direct service delivery with a deeper understanding of Indigenous culture. Examining a community development model successfully used in Arnhem Land today, this training will cover both the theory and practice of working with Indigenous communities applied to local governance, law, economics, health and substance abuse issues.  $680, Book online.
