• 9 & 10 October 2010 - The South Australian Bonsai Society Annual Show - An exhibition of bonsai, saikei, suiseki and ikebana hosted by members of The South Australian Bonsai Society Inc.
   
• 9 & 10 October 2010 - Biennial Model Railway Exhibition - Hosted by the Noarlunga Model Railroaders Inc. Entry is $6 for adults, $3 for children, and $15 for a family. Open Saturday 9 October from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm and Sunday 10 October from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm at the Seaview High School Gymnasium, Seacombe Rd, Seacombe Heights.

• 15 October (Friday) 2010 - University of Adelaide Class of 1960 Golden Jubilee Reunion - The 25th Golden Jubilee Reunion is an opportunity for graduates to renew acquaintances and to celebrate 50 years as a graduate (see BCL Reunions).
   
• 15 & 16 October 2010 - The Amazing Race Corporate Challenge On October 15, up to 30 teams from businesses around Adelaide will embark on a two day race around South Australia in the third Amazing Race Corporate Challenge, providing excellent opportunities for team building and fun while raising money for Deaf and Blind South Australians. Supporting CanDo4Kids and Deaf CanDo.
   
• 22 to 24 October 2010 - Adelaide Home Show - Friday and Saturday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Adelaide Showgrounds, Rose Tce, Wayville.
   
• 22 to 24 October 2010 - Fleurieu Folk Festival - With music concerts and sessions, dance, workshops, bush poets, children’s entertainment and market stalls. Held in Willunga on the Fleurieu Penninsula.
   
• 25 October (Monday) 2010 - Pink Ribbon Day - Aiming to increase the awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection.National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Breakfasts

• To be confirmed 2010 - Teddy Love Club Field of Angels Appeal - The Teddy Love Club provides support for bereaved parents, family, and friends who have suffered the loss of their baby to miscarriage, stillbirth, genetic induction, or neonatal death.
