• 28 October to 14 November 2010 - Sculpture by the Sea - See the spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk transformed into a giant sculpture park of over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. Annual event (see Bondi).
   
• 7 August to 14 November 2010, Brisbane - Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future - An exhibition dedicated to the career of celebrated Italian couturier Valentino Garavani. Open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 5.00pm at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) Queensland, Stanley Place, Southbank.
   
• 23 Oct 2010 to 6 Feb 2011, Canberra - In the spotlight: Anton Bruehl photographs 1920s–1950s: From his studio in New York, Australian-born Anton Bruehl created inventive and perfectly realised colour photographs for Condé Nast magazines such as Vogue. His work ranges across advertising, images of stars of stage, screen and socialites to his personal photography in the classic documentary tradition. This is a FREE exhibition. • 30 October 2010 to 27 February 2011, Canberra - Space Invaders: Australian . street . stencils . posters . zines . stickers: Off the street and into the gallery. • 4 to 8 November 2010, Sydney - Parramasala, the first annual Australian Festival of South Asian Arts featuring international and local artists in a selection of world and Australian exclusive performances. Parramasala will place the historic city of Parramatta on the world stage, bringing together a mind-expanding confluence of cultural backgrounds, artistic ideas, and innovative collaborations from today’s most celebrated, contemporary artists working across music, dance, theatre, film and visual arts. Backed by the NSW Government through Events NSW, Parramasala features events (both free and ticketed). See the website for tickets and a full list of events.
   
• 4 November to 5 December 2010, NSW - Archibald Prize 2010 Regional Tour at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre
   
• 6 to 21 November 2010, Melbourne - The Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition. The Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne present their tenth Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition presenting over 150 botanic artworks by leading artists from Australia and overseas. The exhibition will be held in the Domain House Gallery, Dallas Brooks Drive Melbourne. All artworks will be for sale.
   
• 13 to 28 November 2010, Adelaide - Feast - Adelaide's annual Lesbian and Gay Cultural Festival features theatre, cabaret, film, forums, literature, dance, visual arts, tourism, sporting and community events.
   
• 14 November (Sunday) 2010 - 2010 Art Competition "Sacred Symbols" - Open to artists from all backgrounds. The theme aims to increase awareness of the diversity of Symbols used to express Sacredness. Festival Location: Peninsula Community Theatre (PCT) Cnr Nepean Highway & Wilsons Road, Mornington VIC.
