Gold Coast Support and Networking Groups

• Alzheimer's Association on the Gold Coast is a non-profit community organisation providing support services to people with dementia and their families. Founded in 1987, the Association also works to raise community understanding about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
• Amyloidosis Support Groups - Face to face support groups, resources, phone and e-mail help and guidance. Also have and email support group.
• Autism Development and Parenting Therapies Forum (ADAPT) 
  
• Cancer Carers Support - Grief Support, Public Speaking Service, Inspirational Books and Poetry, Pain Management Advice and Asbestos Disease Information and Support.
• Hotel Chaplaincy Australia is the group of volunteers who give up their time to look after schoolies each year

• Maternity Coalition an umbrella organisation to bring together support groups and individuals for effective lobbying, information sharing, networking and support in maternity services.
• Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) Deafness and blindness are serious disabilities. RIDBC assists more than 600 children, and their families, each year and relies heavily on community support to be able to continue to make a difference in children's lives.
