• Amnesty Gold Coast
• Friends of the Pound - Tweed Inc. work at the pound 365 days a year and also rescue dogs and cats from the pound and place them with foster carers until suitable homes can be found. Hundreds of animals lives have been saved due to the hardworking efforts of Friends of the Pound volunteers. They are seeking help in obtaining their own re-homing centre and base. 
  
• Hotel Chaplaincy Australia is the group of volunteers who give up their time to look after schoolies each year
• Radio 1073 - Community radio station.
• Radio Lollipop - An international organisation founded over 25 years ago to provide care, comfort, play and entertainment for children and young people, primarily in hospitals. The service to children and young people is provided entirely by volunteers who have been especially selected and trained to make a child's stay in hospital more fun and less frightening.
