  • The Mother's Day Classic - Make a real difference to the lives of those diagnosed with breast cancer by simply walking, running or sponsoring a participant, to help raise vital funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
     
  • Trees for Mum - Free national event offers motherless children a way to remember their mum, and celebrate the beauty of life, by planting a tree in her honour. Go to the website for more information.
     
• 26 May (Wednesday) 2010 - Sorry Day
   
• 29 May (Saturday) 2010 - 65 Roses Day - The annual national awareness day for Cystic Fibrosis. Funds raised will go towards research projects and support services for children and young adults living with CF.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - Fit4fun - Organised by the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation. The program aims to promote healthy lifestyles by involving Queensland children in weeklong healthy eating and physical activity.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - Starlight Day - The Starlight Foundation will be selling merchandise nationally to support seriously ill or hospitalised children.

• To be confirmed 2010 - MFest - An annual event that aims to celebrate motherhood and the creativity of women with poetry, arts, crafts, food, children's activities, music and more.

• To be confirmed 2010 - Chalk the Walk - Artists compete against each other for the best pavement art creation. Audience members are invited to watch and vote.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - The National Careers and Employment Expo - The Expo provides the opportunity for students, graduates, skilled and mature age workers, and those looking for a change, to meet face to face with Australia's leading organisations, government bodies, educational and training providers.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - Cancer Council's Gold Coast Relay for Life - An opportunity to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer. Teams will take turns in walking for 18 hours in order to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - National Simultaneous Storytime - An annual event organised by the Australian Library and Information Association. At 11.00am children in libraries around Australia will read the same story.

• To be confirmed 2010 - Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - Anyone can host their own morning tea during the months of May and June. All funds raised help The Cancer Council fund research, prevention and support services for patients and families.
