• Alternatives to Violence Project AVPQ is a growing community of people who support those actively seeking nonviolent solutions to conflict. Members share experiences, skills, information and their time. It is a multicultural, independent, non-profit association of trained volunteers, offering experiential workshops that help people to change their lives.

• ASCA - Advocates for Survivors of Child Abuse is a national not-for-profit organisation of survivors supporting other survivors.

• Australian Childhood Foundation- This website aims to give adults a better understanding about child abuse and its impact on children, families and all of us.

• Centacare Tasmania- Centacare runs programs which help combat family violence, including crisis intervention, counselling, and group programs for perpetrators of violence regardless of religion, race, cultural or economic circumstance.

• Legal Aid Commission of Tasmania - Free legal advice and referrals, plus seminars and legal representation.
   
• Let's Face It - Based on the film The Man Who Stole My Mother's Face, deals with issues surrounding sexual assault.
   
• Relationships Australia  - Provides trauma and crisis services, as well as counselling and support.
   
• Safe at Home  - A range of services to protect and support victims of family violence, including young  people and children.

• Support Help and Empowerment (S.H.E) -S.H.E. offers counselling and support to women who are in or from an abusive intimate relationship, whether it is past or current.
