Fitzroy Legal Service is one
of the oldest community legal centres in Australia, opening in 1972. Fitzroy
Legal Service provides casework to clients in our catchment area and plays a

young people in Australia. Lawstuff is a legal help service for young people
under 18. LawMail allows young people from anywhere in Australia to email
their legal questions to the National Children's and Youth Law Centre.
Youth Referral and Independent Person Program (YRIPP)
- program that works with Independent Persons, volunteers who attend police
interviews with a young person when a parent or guardian is not available.
Independent Persons provide support, legal info and referral options for the
young person in custody.
