on the prevention of child abuse and neglect and associated family violence.

counselling, information and referral service for parents and carers with
children from birth to 18 years.
Respite Victoria links you to the 8 regional disability respite websites in Victoria. Each regional website links you to the Respite Service Search (local and statewide), and has specific local information, news and events.
SIDS and Kids SIDS and Kids has broadened its service provision to support people who have
been affected by the death of a child from any cause - not just Sudden
Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). This support incorporates perinatal
deaths (including still birth and neonatal deaths), drowning, car accidents,
sudden onset illnesses and any other cause of death.
Teddy Love Club - Support for parents and families who have sufferered the loss of their
baby due to miscarriage, genetic inducement of labour, stillbirth and
neonatal death. Counselling is available via phone, email, home or hospital
visits, support meetings, an Australia wide newspaper and online pregnancy
and infant loss support groups.
TRY Youth & Community Services: Run youth mentoring programs, kindergartens and training programs for unemployed.
TRY’s programs include: vocational programs for the long-term unemployed,
literacy & numeracy educational programs, employment programs for the
disadvantaged sector of the community, supported accommodation for homeless
students, 21 outside school hours care and holiday care programs for disabled
and disadvantaged primary school-aged children, including programs conducted in
rural locations of Victoria, preschool education through our 41 preschools
particularly for those whose parents cannot afford preschool education for their
children, and a support program designed to assist teenagers who care for their
disabled or chronically ill parent or sibling.
