Aids Hepatitis and Sexual Health Line
Inc. provides anonymous telephone counselling and education programs
about HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections and sexual
health to the community. It was originally known as AIDSLINE and formed in
1985 in response to the emerging HIV/AIDS epidemic at that time. The name
was changed in 1998 to reflect the fact that as well as dealing with
sexually transmitted infections other than HIV, they also offer services
on viral hepatitis, in particular hepatitis C, through their Hepatitis C
Helpline.
