A mentoring program based in Melbourne.
- Brotherhood of St Laurence - Aims
to free Australia from poverty. The organisation requires
volunteers to work in
aged services, community shops, library and information services, social
policy and research, youth support services, vocational training, migrant
and refugee support and more.
- Collingwood Children's Farm -
Aims to provide people with a country experience. Open every day of the year from 9.00am
to 5.00pm. The farm needs
volunteers
over the age of 18 to lead group tours, garden, care for animals and
more.
- FareShare - Aims to
provides free and healthy meals to the hungry and the homeless using
donated surplus food from markets, caterers, and retailers around
Melbourne.
- Health Australia & Tanzania (HAT)
- Based in Victoria and founded in March 2005 to raise funds for development projects that
improve the health of Tanzanians. Proceeds from Trivia for Tanzania will
finance medical equipment for the Londoni village in the Singida region of
Tanzania. All projects are developed in consultation with local villagers to
meet their priorities and the needs of their communities.
