• Amnesty International - Volunteer in Victoria.
• Big Brothers Big Sisters - A mentoring program based in Melbourne.
• Brotherhood of St Laurence - Aims to free Australia from poverty. The organisation requires volunteers to work in aged services, community shops, library and information services, social policy and research, youth support services, vocational training, migrant and refugee support and more.
• Collingwood Children's Farm - Aims to provide people with a country experience. Open every day of the year from 9.00am to 5.00pm. The farm needs volunteers over the age of 18 to lead group tours, garden, care for animals and more.
• FareShare - Aims to provides free and healthy meals to the hungry and the homeless using donated surplus food from markets, caterers, and retailers around Melbourne.
• Health Australia & Tanzania (HAT) - Based in Victoria and founded in March 2005 to raise funds for development projects that improve the health of Tanzanians. Proceeds from Trivia for Tanzania will finance medical equipment for the Londoni village in the Singida region of Tanzania. All projects are developed in consultation with local villagers to meet their priorities and the needs of their communities.
• Kids Under Kanvas - Wesley Mission Melbourne - Provides young people with a disability the opportunity to participate in recreation and camping activities which develop new skills and self-confidence. They need volunteers to lead camp activities, work in administration and fundraise.
• Melbourne Water Frog Census - A community-based frog monitoring program within greater Melbourne.
• The Mental Illness Fellowship - To serve, to help, to lend a hand, to get down and dirty - the Mental Illness Fellowship volunteers do all this and more to ensure that their organisation prospers and grows. They visit, they type, they teach, they inform, they answer our Helpline - our volunteers have always been giving of their time, free of their expertise and willing to lend a hand.
• Mercy Health - Services include acute hospital care, aged care, mental health programs, specialist women's health, early parenting and palliative care.

• Asylum Seekers Resource Centre - Aims to provide aid, advocacy and health services for asylum seekers in Australia. The centre is seeking volunteers for a minimum 12 month commitment.

• Australian Emergency Management Volunteer Program Forum - Provides training, legal protection, funding and recognition for Australian emergency volunteers.
• Australian League of Immigration Volunteers (ALIV) - Aims to improve the lives of children and families with Bridging Visas living in Community Detention, as well as adults and children living inside Immigration Detention Centres. ALIV is seeking volunteers to actively work with children and families as well as in recruitment, administration, fundraising, volunteer management and programming.

• Dharmik Australia - Charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children in Nepal by supporting children's homes and other local projects. 
• Fight Cancer Foundation - The marketing and fundraising arm of the Bone Marrow Donor Institute. The Foundation requires volunteers who can participate in various fundraising events.

• Indigenous Community Volunteers (ICV) - ICV is a not for profit organisation that need volunteers to held provide Indigenous Australians with new skills.
• interPART - Brings together a range of people with extensive experience in working with communities, governments and international agencies in Africa, Asia, the Pacific and Australia. Friends of interPART is a volunteer managed, incorporated humanitarian/fundraising body.
• The Light of Lanka Foundation - Was established in January 2005 as a result of mother of three, Needra Doyles inspiring trip to Sri Lanka just three days after the tsunami to work as a volunteer. After sharing her experiences via emails to friends at home, a group were motivated to form a committee to assist some of the hundreds of orphaned children.
• Meals On Wheels
• Men's Link - A non-profit organisation which aims to promote the value, well-being and social participation of young men by providing appropriate and professional services with outreach activities. They require mentors for group activities and one-to-one mentoring.
• Ovarian Cancer Program - Requires volunteers for fundraising.
• Oxfam Australia - Volunteer in Oxfam offices or become a remote volunteer.
• Radio Lollipop - An international organisation founded over 25 years ago to provide care, comfort, play and entertainment for children and young people, primarily in hospitals. The service to children and young people is provided entirely by volunteers who have been especially selected and trained to make a child's stay in hospital more fun and less frightening.
