- Throughout July 2009 -
Cancer Council Call to Arms
- An annual, national event to raise funds and awareness of cancer,
a disease that effects 1 in 2 men by age 85. To participate,
nominate any day in July to host a Call to Arms match where the
players in your sporting club wear a yellow armband in a show of
support to men who have survived cancer, those currently facing the
cancer fight and to remember mates who have lost their lives to
cancer. All funds raised go to the Cancer Council. Any sporting club
can join, so register by 26 June, contact 1300 65 65 85.

Swinburne University of
Technology Postgraduate City Session - Future
Swinburne students will have the opportunity to speak with academic
staff, attend information sessions and network with other
attendee's. The event commences at 6.00pm and concludes at 8.30pm.

Chamber Music Competition - Young musicians
from Australia, Japan, NZ, China and South Korea will be competing
in the classical music competition which is held every four years.

Born to Fly Kids Holiday
Program - Hosted by the Hope Christian Church
Melbourne. The free program encourages children through activities and interactive learning experiences.
The program also includes puppetry, storytelling, skits, arts and

Presented by the Diamond Valley Singers. A story about a man who, 15
