- Wear your jeans and make a donation to the national children's charity
Jeans for Genes. The annual event raises funds for children with genetic

Melbourne International Festival of
Brass
- Aims to recognise and celebrate the contribution of brass playing in
the Australian community.
- 3 October (Saturday) 2009 - Great Melbourne Pursuit - The fourth annual pursuit is a
fundraiser for the Royal Children's Hospital. Teams of two will race
against the clock around Melbourne and the inner suburbs visiting
landmarks and locations while completing a variety of activities. Entry
is $140 per team.

Gardening Australia Expo - Featuring advice, demonstrations,

Refugee
Camp in Your City - A recreation of a refugee camp and its facilities with free,
guided tours led by MSF Australian experienced field workers who have
witnessed life in a refugee camp. The event aims to create a better
understanding of the vulnerability of life for displaced people and
refugees who have fled their homes.

Festival - An annual event including workshops,
