• 5 September (Friday) 2008 - Footy Colours Day - Wear your team's colours to work or school to raise money for the Back on Track program, which offers tailored tutoring for children living with cancer. Register your school or workplace on the website.

• 10 September (Wednesday) 2008 - Infant & Child First Aid Information Night - informal information night for people who care for children, run by an Ambulance Officer. • 10 & 11 September 2008 - The Idea Of North - Fresh back from South Korea’s 'Amazing Voice' festival, Sydney's own international award winning vocal group are back at Chapel off Chapel. Come and treat yourself to a blend of jazz, soul, gospel and originals, with some great musical comedy thrown in for good measure. • 13 to 14 September 2008 - Turkish Tulip Festival Weekend - Learn about the history of the tulip and see artisans from Turkey demonstrate fine Ottoman art depicting the tulip in many forms.
