The
Springston Trophy - Billed as the largest pony club
teams event in the Southern Hemisphere, this year's Trophy will be
held in Invercargill, Southland, with the program including cross country,
dressage and show jumping.
Kaikoura
Seafest - Kaikoura's annual festival celebrating the abundance
of the ocean with wine and food from the region.
Opotiki's
Motu Challenge - With a 65km mountain bike ride, a 17km run, a
52km road cycle and a multisport stage comprising a 27km kayak, 8km road
cycle and a 3km run to the finish. Held in and around Opotiki, in the
Bay Of Plenty.
South
Island Masters Games - With more than 50 different sports for
masters aged 30 and up. People with disabilities are encouraged to
enter. Timaru.
Bauer
Pukekohe Express - With a 100k, 50k or 30k cycle starting and
finishing in Pukekohe. There are over $70 000 worth of
prizes to be won.
The
Auckland City Volcanoes Challenge
- An inner city
navigation event where competitors run to, and up, Auckland’s iconic
volcanoes, in any order that they choose.
Hawkes
Bay Show - Includes Hawkes Bay Anniversary day. The show will feature trade sites, the Mahon Amusements side shows, New
Zealand showjumping and livestock competitions for sheep, alpacas and
cattle, and free entertainment. Held at Hawkes Bay Showgrounds.
