Atherton Tablelands/Cairns Highlands

Atherton Tablelands, also known as the Cairns Highlands, is a plateau inland from  Cairns and Innisfail in far north Queensland. The Barron River, which was dammed to form Lake Tinaroo, flows across the tablelands to descend as the Barron Falls.
