• To be confirmed 2010 - MS Read-a-thon - An annual event that aims to encourage reading while raising awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis. (See also No School Today: Fundraising Activities.)

• To be confirmed 2010 - The Dreaming - Australia's International Indigenous Festival - A celebration of traditional and contemporary indigenous arts, practices and culture.

• To be confirmed 2010 - Race the Rattler - An 18.5km race against the Valley Rattler Steam Train. Runners can run in teams of four or individually.

• To be confirmed 2010 - Footloose Friday - An annual state-wide fundraising event for the Wesley Mission Brisbane. Wear purple socks, shoes or laces and help raise funds and awareness for disadvantaged Queenslanders.
   
• To be confirmed 2010 - Blue Care Awareness Week - Buy Blue, Dress Blue, Dine Blue or Go Blue to help support Blue Care in your local community. Blue Care are a not-for-profit organisation - donations and fundraising initiatives help them continue their vital work bringing quality care to Queenslanders.
