Lunch For Leukaemia Get together for lunch with friends, family or
workmates to raise money for the 30,000 patients and their families living
with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not for profit dedicated to
the care and cure of patients and families living with these diseases.

National BBQ Day takes place in backyards
all over Australia raising funds for Variety, The Children's Charity,
which is dedicated to improving the quality of life of sick, disabled
and disadvantaged children.

Blood Donor Week Blood donors are, literally, the lifeblood of
Australia. They give up their time voluntarily to give blood so that
others lives can be improved or saved. One donation helps save three
lives. On an average week, Australia needs just over 20,000 blood
donations. Blood is needed every single day by cancer patients, people
with heart disease, people with kidney, stomach and bowel disease, for new
born babies, for mums in childbirth and for burns and accident victims. To
