  • To be confirmed 2008 - Lunch For Leukaemia Get together for lunch with friends, family or workmates to raise money for the 30,000 patients and their families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not for profit dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with these diseases.

  • To be confirmed 2008 - National BBQ Day takes place in backyards all over Australia raising funds for Variety, The Children's Charity, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.
     
  • To be confirmed 2008 - National Blood Donor Week Blood donors are, literally, the lifeblood of Australia. They give up their time voluntarily to give blood so that others lives can be improved or saved. One donation helps save three lives. On an average week, Australia needs just over 20,000 blood donations. Blood is needed every single day by cancer patients, people with heart disease, people with kidney, stomach and bowel disease, for new born babies, for mums in childbirth and for burns and accident victims.
