Food and Wine Clubs in Sydney and New South Wales, Australia

• Border Wine & Food Society - Albury-Wodonga group that meets the second Monday of each month.  A member of the Federation of Wine & Food Societies of Australia.
• Cake Decorators Guild of New South Wales - Meet once a month for demonstrations or workshops on sugarcraft, the art of cake decoration.  There are guild branches in Wagga Wagga, Illawarra, Central Coast, Cooma, Southern Highlands and Bathurst.
• Harbour City Slow Food -  A group for those who wish to enjoy food shared in a way that is sustainable, culturally rich and socially enjoyable.  A convivium (member club) of Slow Food International.
• IBU: Illawarra Brewers Union - A group in Illawarra, NSW that describes itself as an informal homebrew club with no one really in charge or control, just a bunch of dedicated brewers making great beer.
• Macquarie University Wine Appreciation Society - Student club for the responsible appreciation of alcoholic beverages.
• Orange Beefsteak and Burgundy Club - Monthly men's food and wine club in Orange, NSW.  A branch of the the Beefsteak and Burgundy Club Inc.
• Sydney Ladies Wine & Food Society Inc - An all female group that meets the first Wednesday of each month.  A member of the Federation of Wine & Food Societies of Australia
• University of Sydney Chocolate Society - Student guild that brings people together of different flavours, in their love of chocolate.
• Wine & Food Society of New South Wales - Weekly functions are aimed at understanding and appreciating the the preparation of fine food and wine.  A member of Federation of Wine & Food Societies of Australia.
• Wollongong Wine & Food Society - A mixed group that meets on the first Friday of each month in Wollongong, south of Sydney.   A member of the Federation of Wine & Food Societies of Australia.
• Yarra Valley Slow Foods - This food appreciation society emphasizes sustainability, cultural richness and a friendly social environment.  A convivium (member club) of Slow Food International.

National and International Food and Wine Groups

• Australian Craft Brewers - Here you will find brewers of all ages, abilities and nationalities working together to promote and encourage the hobby of brewing your own beer.  The community section has contact details for finding a craft-brewing club near you.
• Australian Specialist Cheesemakers' Association - Specialist cheese history, events and recipes.
• Auswine Forum - Food and wine discussion board.  Topics include recipes, restaurants and reviews.
• Beefsteak and Burgundy Club Inc. - Food and wine club with over 180 active Branch Clubs, founded in Adelaide and now covering every Australian State and Territory and ten countries overseas.  This club, which has male, female and mixed chapters, aims to further the education of its members and the community in the appreciation and understanding of good food and wines.
• Federation of Wine & Food Societies of Australia - A network of over forty clubs formed to bring together those who appreciate wine, food and culinary art and enjoy doing so in good company.
• International Cake Exploration Societe - The Mission of the International Cake Exploration Societe ( ICES ) is to preserve, advance, and encourage exploration of the sugar arts.  ICES promotes and provides opportunities for continuing education, development of future sugar artists, and enjoyment of the art form in a caring and sharing environment.
• International Wine and Food Society, Australia - This club is dedicated to enhancing the intelligent sharing of good food and fine wine amongst friends.  It has branches across Australia and the world.
• La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs - Originally from France, this food and wine appreciation club is dedicated to preserving and raising the standards of the culinary arts not just in French cuisine, but in all the great cuisines of the world.  It has chapters in the mainland states and territories.
• Slow Food International - Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization that was founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.  It has chapters (called convivia) across Australia and around the world.
• Wine Guild of Australia -  Independent, not-for-profit, volunteer group dedicated to fostering a greater knowledge and understanding of wine within the community.  Functions are Australia-wide and include wine-tastings and dinners.
