volunteers to assist with events
- Disability Advocacy NSW
amalgamation of Disability Advocacy Service Hunter (DASH) and Advocacy
Northwest (ANW). This program
is based in the Hunter Region and aims to provide independent long term
volunteer advocates to people with a cognitive disability.
- Friends of STARTTS (FOS) is
an Australian registered charity that supports the work of STARTTS (Services
for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors).
- Jessie Street National
Women's Library is a specialist library that collects, preserves, and
promotes the awareness of the literary and cultural heritage of Australian
women.
- Make a Difference is a
charity set up to provide support for children and their families who are
experiencing severe poverty, or trauma or other difficulty.
- The Centre for Volunteering
connects people and organisations in order to enrich our community. We
achieve this through referral, training, resource development, information and
education services to help people get involved in their communities, and
enhance the capacity and skills of not-for-profits, corporations and
government to become involved in the community
- The Children's Hospital at Westmead
Annual
Bandaged Bear Day Appeal. We need hundreds of people to hit the streets
on Friday 14 March, Bandaged Bear Day, to help us sell this wonderful
merchandise! To ensure all permits can be arranged in time for Bandaged
Bear Day please register by Friday 14 February.
