• 17 to 20 October 2008 - Griffith Festival of the Gardens See Griffith.  Showcases the regions’ gardens.  Visit local gardens and see the unique citrus sculptures. 

• 18 October (Saturday) 2008 - Applause Street Theatre and Buskers Festival, Albury See Albury.  Street performances of music, visual and performing arts. 

• 18 October (Saturday) 2008 - TaikOz -The Gathering TaikOz combines tradition with the latest Australian and Japanese compositions. For more information call 02 8839 3399.

• 18 October (Saturday) 2008 - Oatley Lions Village Festival - Oatley Lions Village Festival is a popular annual community event that attracts over 12,000 visitors. Attractions include 170+ food, craft and novelty stalls, an animal farm, Harley Bike Rides, and two stages of live entertainment. 8.30am, Frederick St, Oatley and in the adjoining Memorial Gardens. • To be confirmed 2008 - The Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival includes historical events, a concert on the village green, a scarecrow trail, young talent quest, open gardens for charity and the spectacle of scarecrows. A full day of family fun and entertainment with sheep shearing, reptile show, fairy edwina, clowns, stage and village entertainment, stalls, children's activities and more.

• To be confirmed 2008 - Sydney Food & Wine Fair is basically the yummiest day of the year! Over 100 of our elite restaurants, cafs and winemakers come together to host a stall and offer their signature dish for a fraction of their usual price.

• To be confirmed 2008 - The Teddy Bears' Picnic Presented by the Children's Hospital at Westmead at Rosehill Gardens. This fun filled family day out includes a range of activities for the kids such as face painting, hair spraying, a giant sandpit, rides, jumping castles and much more! All proceeds go directly to The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
   
• To be confirmed 2008 - Granny Smith Festival Celebrating the life of Granny Smith who accidentally grew the worlds first crop of the apple in 1868 at Eastwood, that now bears her name. All the fun of fair with a street parade, carnival rides, market stalls, international food fair, mobile animal farm, roving street theatre, entertainment and an apple baking competition.
