Concerts and Festivals New
South Wales
If a site listed below has last years information, please check back later.
Many organisers update their sites as the event time approaches.
- Biennale of Sydney
- Byron Bay Writers
Festival is held the first weekend in August each year. Set in the
glorious grounds of the Byron Bay Beach Resort, the marquees, which make
up the Festival site overflowed with crowds who were there to enjoy listening
to their favourite writers and engage in conversations about books and all
the major issues of the day. A sell-out event, the Byron Bay Writers
Festival three-day pass is the hottest item on the literary calendar.
- City Recital Hall Angel Place
This finely tuned recital hall with a capacity of 1238 seats is an
internationally important, purpose-built venue for the performance of all
kinds of musical performance. The hall has been designed for quality of
sound, to enhance enjoyment of audiences, soloists, chamber ensembles,
chamber orchestras, contemporary bands, popular musicians and the spoken
word.
- Dragon Boat Festival
- Glebe Music Festival
- Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre
