High Country

The High Country Region contains the Victorian Alps and their surrounding areas. The main towns in the region are Wangaratta, Benalla, Rutherglen, Wodonga, Beechworth, Mount Beauty, Bright, Falls Creek, Mansfield, Merrijig, Nagambie, Yackandandah, and Alexandra.

This region is Kelly Country and you'll find lots of museums and reminders of the bushranger. Other attractions in the region include Winton Motor Raceway.
