ConVERGEnce A Community Verge Garden Gathering

Saturday, 3 August 2019 from 09:00-16:00

A Community Gathering focussed upon Verge Garden Advocacy. This event provides a format for garden industry representatives, Municipality and Residents to provide tesimonials and advocate for the many benefits of Adopting Verge Gardens and other underutilised spaces in our community neighbourhoods.

The day will provide presentations from prominent Perth Garden Industry & Nature Enthusiats, Residents, Councillors, Residents and other local change makers, along with time for discussion and Q&A’s. Along with a variety of informative presentations and testimonials, we will provide demonstrations of how to successfully plant native seedlings on your verge with the opportunity for hands on experience on the day.

We will provide tea, coffee, & light snack/refreshments for the session. We suggest any specific dietry requirements are to be managed by attendees themselves (bring any specific food you may require).

Guest List includes (final list TBC) – Faye Arcaro, Darren Seinor, Cr Chris Cornish of City of Bayswater, Greg Smith, Sue Dempster, Narelle Lulfitz, Richard McDowell and a variety of resident Verge Garden Adopters and local community change makers/leaders who have had positive impacts on their local community through their community verge garden advocacy.
