Reflection in Light – Francesca Raft Exhibition 2024

Ever since I was a small child, I have looked at the sky in wonder. I have been fascinated by its grandness and its grace, moved by its capacity for perpetual life and mysterious power.

Reflections in light is a series of oil paintings that explores the interplay between light, the temporal and the eternal unknown. These works have a three-dimensional quality that change and move with the position that they are placed, seeking not to pierce the sky’s mysteries but to live through them. 

 Reflections in light has been long in the making, and I’m very much looking forward to it being experienced in such a space as Artsite.
