  • Carbon Neutral: Carbon Neutral is a not-for-profit organisation which works with hundreds of organisations and thousands of individuals to measure, reduce and offset carbon emissions and support revegetation projects
  • City Farm Perth – An organic community garden, education and network centre that operates on permaculture principles.
  • Busselton Community Garden The purpose of the garden is to provide a place for people to come together and grow their own fruit and vegetables, using only organic methods. People of all ages and abilities can get involved.
  • Anti-Nuclear Alliance – Western Australia (ANAWA)
  • Conservation Council of Western Australia (CCWA) is the State’s foremost non-profit, non-government conservation organisation. It is WA’s peak environment and sustainability group with over 100 member groups and has been an outspoken advocate for conservation and a sustainable WA for over 40 years. Their vision is to have communities living sustainably in the unique WA environment, their mission is to increase community awareness on conservation, and encourage action for conservation throughout Western Australia.
  • The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council – (EMRC). The EMRC provides  waste management and education services, resource recovery, environmental management and regional development. Working in partnership with our member Councils and other stakeholders, the EMRC delivers local and regional scale projects across each of these areas for the benefit of Perth’s Eastern Region: Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater, City of Belmont, Shire of Mundaring, City of Kalamunda and City of Swan.
  • The Environmental Defender’s Office – Ltd (WA) is a not-for-profit community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law. We help the individuals and community groups who are working to protect the natural and built environment. The EDO is part of a national network of EDOs who help to protect the environment through law in their States.
  • Environmental Protection Authority Western Australia’s environmental regulator.
  • Organic Association of W.A. OGAWA connects organic growers, consumers and gardeners with the aim of promoting the benefits and joys of clean, nutritious organic food.
  • Recycling Near You – a Planet Ark initiative. On this site you can search for information about the recycling and waste services offered by your council. You can also find specific local recycling options for a wide range of products. You can also find reports, guides, links and other recycling information
  • Remida Creative Reuse Centre – The centre collects off cuts for industry and makes them available to the community for a small membership fee. They also provide workshops that encourage looking at waste as a valuable resource.
  • Rottnest Society – An incorporated non-profit group. The society aims to ensure the future of Rottnest Island through hands on activities such as tree planting and weeding, and by scrutinising – and commenting on – management plans, and lobbying for the conservation and restoration of the natural environment.
  • Save Our Marine Life Less than 1% of Australia’s South West marine environment is protected, despite being home to a far greater level of unique species than the Great Barrier Reef.
