  • Alternatives to Violence Project is a network of independent not-for-profit grass-roots volunteer groups offering experiential workshops on creative conflict transformation in prisons, schools, and the wider community
  • Anti-Discrimination Commission can help if you’ve been sexually harassed or discriminated against in employment, education and many other areas.

  • Patricia Giles CentreWomen’s Counselling Service – Formerly the Domestic Violence Advocacy and Referral Service. Crises and short term counselling offered over the phone or face-to-face. The centre also provides crises housing for single women and women with children (boys up to 18 years, girls of all ages) who have experienced family violence.

  • www.YourZone.com.au/perinatalhealth is a Western Australian government-funded multi-media website which has been specially developed to provide comprehensive information to the community on different aspects of perinatal mental health. It also has a database of perinatal mental health services statewide. The main goal of the website is to help women and their partners/families who may be experiencing emotional difficulties and challenges during pregnancy or after the birth of their baby (perinatal period), particularly those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds or families living in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or located in rural and remote areas within WA. The project is funded under the State Perintal Mental Health Strategy.
