Oatley, 21 km south of the Sydney CBD, is on a peninsula with its eastern, southern and western boundaries formed by the Georges River and its bays. Oatley Park is a public recreation area within a natural environment. It has a swimming area, a playground, lookouts, barbecues, a soccer/cricket oval, and a castle. The man-made wetlands provide refuge for many bird species
The Oatley Village Festival is held on the 3rd Saturday of October each year.
Oatley is in the St George area.
