Eating Out in Brisbane
- Eat Safe Brisbane: Eat Safe Brisbane is a rating scheme from the Brisbane City Council that assesses food safety and hygiene standards of licensed food businesses (including restaurants, cafes and food outlets) and issues a food safety star rating. There is a search on the site so you can check the rating of any local businesses.
- Having a GoCoffee trains and employs people in need, giving them full skills to work at a coffee shop, a head start in hospitality and a second chance at life. They also do Suspended Coffees or Suspended Coffee & Muffins which means you can also buy a coffee or coffee and muffin for a homeless or person in need. 20 cents per cup of coffee sold goes to Signal Flare which works to help homeless people. The first coffee shop is at 262 Old Cleveland Rd, Coorparoo with more planned.
